The Cardiologists

Having graduated from Oxford University and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, Carl Brookes continued his postgraduate education at the Hammersmith Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital. He received a DM from Oxford University on right ventricular physiology in 1999.

He became a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician at Hampshire Hospitals in 2000. He sees adults with all types of cardiac disease but has a particular interest in hypertension, coronary disease, stent implantation, heart failure and pacing.

Andrew Bishop has been a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician at The North Hampshire Hospital since 1999.

He trained at Cambridge and St Thomas' Hospital, completing post graduate training at The Royal Brompton Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital.

He sees patients with all forms of heart disease and also practices as a general physician; he has an active angiography and angioplasty practice.
